Partners

The partnership is set up between six different organisations including one school - Fo.Co. (Italy), two universities - UCLL (Belgium) and UTH (Greece) and three NGOs - ALDA (France), DRPDNM (Slovenia) and Paydaş (Turkey) in a cross sectoral way.

ALDA - European Association for Local Democracy (France)

ALDA is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion of good local governance, namely through the empowerment of civil society and the promotion of active citizenship. It works across Europe (28 EU member states), in the Balkans and in recent years, in the South Caucasus and North Africa. In the framework of promoting good governance and citizens participation at local level, ALDA focuses on various themes, such as European integration, civic initiatives, youth involvement, human rights, immigration, equal opportunities, sustainable economic development and volunteering. ALDA is a membership based organization gathering more than 300 members (including Local Authorities, CSOs, youth associations, Universities) from more than 30 countries. ALDA is funded through membership fees and project funding from the European Commission (Europe for Citizens and ERASMUS + among the others), the Council of Europe and other public and private donors.

Drustvo Za Razvijanje Prostovoljnega Dela Novo Mesto (Slovenia)

Društvo za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela Novo mesto (Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo mesto) is a Slovenian non-governmental and humanitarian organisation, working in the public interest in the area of social care, youth and culture. Our mission is to contribute to more inclusive and open society for all. Our two leading programs therefore deal with inclusion of socially excluded groups and with the stimulation of the NGO development and civil dialogue. Our activities within the programs are performed by expert and voluntary work. We promote the values of solidarity, tolerance, voluntarism, active living, clean environment, citizenship awareness and inter-cultural dialogue, citizens participation.

Paydaş Eğitim Kültür Ve Sanat Derneği (Turkey)

Paydaş is a non profit educational institution founded by educators. The members are mainly the teaching staff at different types of organisations in the field education.The main aim is to include innovation into formal,non formal and informal education.In this respect the association’s regular activities include organizing training which support the development of supportive educational activities for coaches,educators,facilitators in formal and non formal education.The activities cover the three main areas: education for personal and professional development ,innovation and digitalization.Running organizations to nurture reciprocal education between teaching staff and educational interaction is also one of the aims of the association.

Panepistimio Thessalias (Greece)

University of Thessaly provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs and extra-curricular modules in specific research and business fields, for over 43000 students. The main mission of the University of Thessaly is the promotion of scientific knowledge through research and the contribution to the cultural and economic development of the local community and wider society. It is known for its excellent research performance and outstanding scientific achievements, in accordance with the international standards. Project initiatives are highly supported by University of Thessaly and the Center of International Education (CIE) emphasizing and revealing the unique character they provide. The scientific and qualitative implementation of the training programs is well ensured from the integrated contribution of all the faculty and the rest of the research staff of the University of Thessaly. Particularly the team of CIE has participated in a number of European and National project initiatives that promote social inclusion to people with fewer opportunities as well as disabled people, representing significant experience under various European frameworks (H2020, EASME, Erasmus+, DG Employment, Erasmus+ Sport, Interreg, etc.).

Formazione e Comunione Società Cooperativa Sociale Onlus (Italy)

Fo.co. Onlus is a training institution accredited to the Sicily region. It was founded in 2012 in Sicily with the aim of working for a sustainable development of the territory and the promotion of individuals and diversity, by offering services to individuals, professional training courses and design/planning to the public and private sector, always following the ethical code based on the UN’s principles and the spirit enunciated by the Economy of Communion. They also work with projects for asylum seekers and refugees and unaccompanied foreign minors (MSNA). Fo.Co. realizes in Pozzallo (RG), one of the main areas of migrant landing, the Mediterranean Center of Studies and Training “G. La Pira”, with the aim of creating a social initiative for migrants, looking especially at the most vulnerable; unaccompanied foreign minors. The purpose of the Mediterranean Center is to train social and institutional actors in order to improve the conditions for the reception and integration of unaccompanied minors, refugees and asylum seekers. The Center offers multi-disciplinary training for operators involved in hosting and integrating MSNA while providing training courses for MSNA, asylum seekers and refugees.

Vzw UC Limburg is a Higher Education Institution in Flanders, collaborating under the name UC Leuven-Limburg with 2 other HEIs: vzw UC Leuven (formerly KHLeuven) and vzw UC Leuven Comenius Lerarenopleidingen (formerly Group T). UC Limburg is renowned for the high quality of its teaching, research & regional development. UC Limburg provides consultancy and continuing education for local industries, organisations and governments. UC Limburg is a member of educational networks across the globe and strongly collaborates with local, regional and national policy-making bodies, resulting in a broad network of stakeholders.
